Engineering Analyst

eCap Network is seeking an entry level industrial engineer to support our Lean & Green services. Ideal candidate has a broad enough technical background to support both process improvement and facilities improvement/energy conservation projects and can demonstrate self direction and motivation.

Responsibilities

• Perform process and facility audits and assessments.
• Support senior level consultants with technical research and analysis.
• Perform quantitative modeling using spreadsheets and other analysis tools.
• Gather, analyze and report on quantitative and qualitative data to support client recommendations.
• Prepare written client reports and presentations.
• Develop tools and templates to streamline auditing and analysis services.
• Work with clients and vendors on the implementation of recommendations.

Pittsburgh, PA

Travel

Regional 80%; Overnight 15%

Salary

Commensurate with experience

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in industrial engineering preferred; mechanical engineering as well as operations, facilities or energy management considered
• One to two years of relevant work experience in industrial setting, including internships or coops
• Demonstrated ability to grasp technical concepts and working practical knowledge of the following concepts:
• Lean thinking, lean manufacturing
• Process optimization
• Systems analysis and design
• Quantitative (including statistical) modeling and analysis
• Business case analysis
• Proven quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization, problem solving and time management skills
